Name:
Unidentified Raptor Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Tegana Formation
Location: Taouz, Morocco
Size: Tooth is 1 inch along curve
This is very rare Raptor tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This unidentified tooth was once part of a major dinosaur fossil collection. This tooth is different than most African Raptor teeth in that it is extremely long and slender. The maroon-colored tooth is 3-dimensionally preserved and has great shape. The sharp serrations on the cutting edges of the tooth are very well preserved, and the tip of the tooth is wonderfully intact. A small part of the root is also present. The tooth comes in its own special display case (not pictured). This is an excellent example of this rare needle-like Raptor tooth.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
