EXTINCTIONS CHOICE - Large Spinosaurus Tooth
Stock Number  DSTVV28
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:    Spinosaurus aegyptiacus Tooth
Age:  Cretaceous
Formation:  Tegana Formation
Location:  Taouz, Morocco
Size:  Tooth is 3.85 inches long

This is a very large Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. This specimen was acquired from a major dinosaur fossil collection. Spinosaurus was a large, carniverous dinosaur that is also known as the ''Thorn Lizard''. This bullet-shaped tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and very displayable on both sides. The very tip of the tooth exhibits a very small amount of natural wear, and a LONG portion of the root is still intact. The thick, corrugated enamel is beautifully preserved and has gorgeous reddish coloration. This is an extremely large tooth (almost four inches long!) from this ferocious dinosaur, prominently featured in the movie, ''Jurassic Park 3''.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
