Triceratops horridus Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Hell Creek Formation
Location: Eastern Montana
Size: Tooth is 0.5 inches long
Here is an excellent specimen of a tooth from Triceratops horridus, the classic ceratopsian, or ''horned dinosaur''. The 3-dimensional tooth is free of matrix and has nice, natural brown coloration. A small portion of the root is still intact. The chisel-edged top of the tooth is beautifully displayed, and the corrugations of the enamel are very distinct. The tooth is nicely showcased in its own display case with label (not pictured). This is a great Triceratops tooth from the famous Hell Creek Formation.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
