Name:
Carnotaurus sastrei Tooth
Age: Cretaceous
Formation: Allen Formation
Location: Rio Negro, Argentina
Size: Tooth is 1.35 inches along curve
This is a super example of a rare dinosaur tooth. It is a large Carnotaurus sastrei tooth from Argentina. This tooth is very nice - the enamel is smooth and colorful, and the serrations are well displayed. The tooth is robust and very 3-D. Photos do not do this tooth justice - you have to see it in person to appreciate it. This is one of the best ones we have seen.
Note: Argentina has now banned the export of all fossils. We will strictly abide by and enforce this law - we will not acquire new fossils from Argentina. However, this fossil was collected and exported prior to this law, and can be sold legally.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
