This is a wonderful Spinosaurus aegyptiacus tooth from the Cretaceous of Morocco. Spinosaurus was a large, carniverous dinosaur that is also known as the ''Thorn Lizard''. This dagger-shaped tooth is extremely 3-dimensional and has great color. The very tip of the tooth is nicely intact, which is quite unusual. The thick, corrugated enamel is beautifully preserved and a portion of the root is easily seen. This is an excellent tooth from this ferocious, sail-backed dinosaur.
