Here is a very fine example of a tooth from a herbiverous dinosaur. This is a Triceratops horridus tooth from the Cretaceous of South Dakota. This type of dinosaur is a ceratopsian, or ''horned dinosaur''. This tooth has great form and exhibits wonderful detail. The ''chisel-pointed'' edge of the deeply corrugated tooth is beautifully displayed, and a portion of the root is still intact. The tooth comes in its own special display case. This is a nice, collectible tooth from this classic horned dinosaur.
