This is an excellent large tooth from the theropod dinosaur, Carcharodontosaurus saharicus. This tooth was found in the sandy Tegana Formation of Morocco. This may have been an unerupted tooth, as there is almost no wear on either the tip or serrations. The tip on comes to a nice point, and the serrations are extremely sharp. The enamel of the tooth is beautifully preserved, and has wonderful natural coloration. This is a top quality tooth from this large carniverous dinosaur.
